- Narayanan Hariharan
- A go-getter, I have always been interested in opportunities in
unexplored territories which would give me scope for growth. My approach
has always been to initiate game-changing strategies to drive growth,
both in personal and professional space, which is how my current venture
- Effect Works stemmed from.
During my Bachelors in Civil Engineering, I leveraged on the opportunity to work with MeritTrac Services gathering experience in Recruitment, learning the nuances of the HR functions, which acted as a launch pad for my career. In the 3 years with MeritTrac, not only was I involved in identifying the right resource, I was also actively involved in the complete recruitment process and managing events of a large-scale.
In a span of 8 years, I have strategized and delivered results; worked across industries, positions and challenges. During my tenure at ICICI Bank, my performance was recognized and I was offered a position performed only by Chartered Accountants. Seeking better opportunities, I moved on to Iridium Interactive, India’s first 360 degree web strategy company, where I was involved in strategic consulting, sales, and delivery. From simple websites to complex web 2.0 applications, I learnt quite a bit on marketing and business.
In the process, I realized the huge potential there was to create the right kind of sales pitch; and I could utilize my creative skills and business knowledge to create effective presentations that told a story breaking the conventional presentation styles. At Effect Works, we understand the business needs and market moods to create presentations highlighting key aspects. Effect Works is the first and one of a kind presentation design and strategy company in India, putting me in an exclusive segment.
I believe animals have as much right to live on this earth as humans. I work closely with Blue Cross of India, an animal welfare organization and help them with marketing, operational and hands-on support on a daily basis.
